65+ Years Of Precision Contract Manufacturing Expertise
Founded in 1958, Small Parts is a 100% employee-owned precision manufacturer with four facilities across the U.S. and Mexico.
More Than Our Name Implies.
Today, Small Parts is an employee-owned company with operations in Logansport, Indiana, Beaumont, California, Juárez and Reynosa, Mexico. We manufacture components for applications ranging from insulin pumps and cochlear implants to military scopes and the F-35 fighter jet.
We have a team of engineers, designers, tool builders, and operators who tackle complex parts — or simple parts with complex specifications.
SPI continues to serve aerospace, Department of Defense, automotive, electrical, housing, and industrial markets, manufacturing components for applications where reliability matters most.
Building Businesses & Enriching Lives.
We build businesses by investing wisely in companies and people, by delivering parts that perform under real-world conditions, and by being the kind of partner customers want to keep for the long haul. We enrich lives by sharing ownership, developing careers at no cost to our employees, supporting our communities, and making sure the work we do here makes someone’s life somewhere else better, safer, or more possible.
A Place Where Ownership Isn’t A Slogan.
At Small Parts, culture isn’t a poster on the breakroom wall. It’s the way decisions get made on the floor, the way a press operator flags a tolerance issue before it ships, and the way someone three jobs removed from the customer still cares whether that customer is happy. That’s what ownership actually looks like — and at SPI, every employee is one.
Many of our employee-owners have been here 20, 30, even 40+ years. That kind of continuity is rare in modern manufacturing — and it’s not luck. It’s the compound interest of treating people like owners, every day, for decades.
Ownership mentality means we don’t pass problems down the line. We don’t wait for someone else to catch it. We don’t treat “that’s not my job” as an answer. The person closest to the work usually has the best read on the work — so we listen to them, and we trust them to act like the owner they are.
Our values — Integrity, Excellence, and Service — aren’t framed and forgotten. They’re what we turn to when decisions get hard, and they’re how we want to be treated in return.
A growing business enriches lives. That belief is the engine behind everything we do — and the reason being employee-owned isn’t just our structure. It’s our strategy.
Every Employee Is An Owner.
Every full-time team member at Small Parts is an owner through our ESOP. That structure changes how we run a quote, how we run a shift, and how we run a career. When the company succeeds, our people build real retirement value — not because they were granted something, but because they earned it alongside everyone else who showed up.
When you partner with Small Parts, you partner with people who own the outcome. Every team member has a direct stake in quality, performance, and your success.
